Study of the mechanism underlying the plasticity of excitatory connectios in the brain using hippocampal organotypic slice cultures as a model.

Technical expertise of the laboratory:

whole cell patch-clamp, dual cell recordings, time lapse imaging of synapses using two-photon confocal microscopy, ultrastructural analyses using 3-D EM reconstruction and molecular tools.
